I love getting my kids outside to play! I sometimes feel like I have to bribe them just to get them away from the TV! This spring we got them a trampoline and it has gone a long way for encouraging them to play outside! I am so glad that we got it! It has been the hit of every party and friend they have had over this summer. I have been trying to think of other ideas to encourage my little ones out into the great outdoors. Here are some ideas I rounded up that could turn my back yard into a kid's paradise!
What would you include in your kid's backyard paradise?
Our backyard is on the small side (townhouse) but our swing set has done wonders for having our kids to play outside. They all still enjoy it greatly. I also try to change up the toys available (5 below is a favorite to refresh the options available. My guys still go for a sandbox anytime they are near one so I would add that as well :)
ReplyDeleteWe have a small backyard and there are tree roots running through the soil so finding a spot to anchor a swingset is difficult. We are blessed with a number of local parks and a public pool so no worries.
ReplyDeleteWe are working on designing a treehouse for our boys, they are involved in the design and will be involved in the build.
ReplyDeleteOur backyard is super small (welcome to San Francisco.) But if we ever get a bigger yard, I love those ideas. It would REALLY be paradise for the kids!
ReplyDeleteAll this would definitely be a kids backyard paradise. I am sure your children would be out a lot more often if it was like that.
